Micah Hamilton is a jeweler and maker living in Oklahoma City. She creates metal jewelry, textiles, and other craftwork.

After studying art at University of Central Oklahoma, Micah fell in love with metalsmithing. She thinks of jewelry as wearable sculpture- objects that merge art with functionality. She especially loves that jewelry pieces can hold so much emotional value, becoming cherished heirlooms. When Micah was growing up, she remembers special times when she would look through her mother's or grandmother's jewelry box and ask where each piece came from. Each jewelry piece held some sort of significance; some with a story attached to them.

She also finds much of her inspiration from the mountains, from the smaller sized Wichita Mountains of Oklahoma to the giant Rockies of Colorado. She loves scavenging various rock shops during her mountain travels for materials to use in her jewelry.

Micah has also recently found a love for weaving and textile art. She learned the basics of weaving on a simple lap loom. Using mostly second-hand yarns, as well as some locally made yarns, she has created meticulously crafted wall hangings, pillows, etc. She has also recently began taking classes to learn to create textiles on a floor loom. She is now growing in her sewing knowledge and skill so she can turn her hand woven fabrics into wearable garments.

Micah believes that the world has become cluttered with low-quality, mass-produced things that hold no meaning. Her goal is to replace that clutter with handcrafted work that is both beautiful and lasts a lifetime- pieces that will hold stories for the following generations.

Structured yet soft linen/bamboo blend with handwoven panel.

Woven panel includes linen, wool, bamboo, cotton, and more.

The shirts pictured are examples of the fabrics used, but expect color/pattern variations in the woven panel as well as the shape of the shirt depending on your measurements. Your shirt will be made to order and will ship within 2-3 weeks of purchase.

DETERMINE PREFERRED LENGTH: please use a tape measure (or a piece of non-stretchy string that you can measure with a ruler) to determine the preferred length of your finished shirt from the top of your shoulder to the bottom hemline. Add this number to the “notes” section at checkout.

CHOOSE A SHIRT SIZE: You may choose a shirt size that best fits your body measurements. The shirt is meant to fit quite loosely on the body:

SIZE 1: measures about 25-26” wide across the bottom (fits approx womens sizes XS-Large)

SIZE 2: measures about 30-31” wide across the bottom (fits approx womens sizes Large-3xl)

SIZE 3: measures about 35-36” wide across the bottom (fits approx womens sizes 3xl +)

CUSTOM: so no body size is left out! Let me know your bust/waist/hip measurements at the widest/fullest point. Add this info to the “notes” section at checkout.

Care: Please keep in mind this garment must be hand washed. Throwing it in the washing machine with your other laundry items will ruin the handwoven panel. My favorite soap for handwashing is Eucalan wool wash which can be purchased here, or from several other online retailers. It doesn’t require rinsing and the ingredients are great for washing garments made of wool. You just add a small amount of the soap to room temp water, swirl your garment in the water for a few seconds, let it soak a bit, then gently squeeze out the excess water, and lay flat on a towel until dry.
If you’re washing with normal detergent, make sure not to over agitate when washing, and make sure it’s thoroughly rinsed before drying.

If you need to iron, make sure the temperature is on a lower setting when ironing the woven panel.

Returns: If you purchase a shirt, but aren’t in love with the fit, you may return for a refund within 7 days of receiving your package. Keep in mind that all shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer and will not be included in your refund
